Nuremberg - The new PV tester Seaward PV:1525-IV is one of the finalists for The smarter E AWARD 2025 in the Photovoltaics category. This officially makes it one of the most innovative new developments of the year in the field of solar energy.
The PV:1525-IV is a portable high-performance device for photovoltaic systems up to 1,500 V DC and 25 A. It combines output analysis, electrical safety testing and intuitive user guidance in one compact system. The integrated I-V curve analysis and precise diagnostic tools enable fast troubleshooting - for example in the event of power losses, cabling problems or module degradation. This allows system performance to be efficiently evaluated and optimized.
Thanks to the Bluetooth interface, the test device can be seamlessly integrated into modern maintenance and installation processes. This makes it particularly suitable for PV installers and O&M teams in commercial and industrial environments.
Reliable measurement and testing technology is key to the further expansion of photovoltaics - especially where new system types, large power classes and complex grid requirements come together.
From May 7 to 9, 2025 we will be presenting the Seaward PV:1525-IV exclusively at Intersolar Europe in Munich. You will find us at booth B4.134 - there we will show you how modern testing technology makes the everyday life of installers and service teams noticeably easier.
The award ceremony for The smarter E AWARD will take place on 6 May in the International Congress Center at Messe München - as part of The smarter E Europe, Europe's leading trade fair platform for the energy industry.
